The Financial Product Safety Commission, an idea originally proposed in Democracy, has recently been discussed on the Senate floor and been the focus of an article in Harvard Magazine. Elizabeth Warren first proposed the Commission (dubbed "FPSC" for short) in our Summer 2007 issue. The FPSC is such a good idea, it’s no wonder that in early April, Senator Dick Durbin discussed the proposal on the Senate floor. And this month, Harvard Magazine published an updated version of Warren’s article. You can read the Harvard article here.
