On December 22nd, John Nagl, author of ”Intellectual Firepower” from Democracy’s most recent issue, will appear on Philadelphia radio station WHYY, as well as Air America’s Rachel Maddow Show. Nagl will discuss his article, as well as the ongoing war in Afghanistan. Nagl, now a fellow at the Center for a New American Security, helped write The U.S. Army/Marine Corps Counterinsurgency Field Manual.
