In October, Democracy convened a panel of leading economic thinkers to discuss the future of progressive fiscal policy. The panelists used Bernard Schwartz’s recent Democracy article as their point of departure. The panel was later mentioned in the New York Times as being key to understanding the debates emerging around the 2008 elections.
