Richard Mize, real estate editor for the Oklahoman, covers Elizabeth Warren’s proposal for a Financial Product Safety Commission [“Unsafe at Any Rate,” Issue #5]. He writes,

A little regulation goes a long way, but to hear Elizabeth Warren tell it, not nearly far enough in the mortgage market.

Warren, an Oklahoma City native and Harvard law professor, is calling
for a “Financial Product Safety Commission”–patterned after the
Consumer Product Safety Commission–in the current issue of the
journal Democracy.
