The current issue of Campaign Insider, published by Campaigns and Elections, features an interview with Democracy co-editor Ken Baer. Says Ken:
I worked on tons of campaigns. What usually happens is that the pollster is the one who comes up with the argument or policy for the campaign by deciding what programs are tested. The same program that was put out in 1986 was put out in 2006…The world has changed, though the baseline values of what we believe are consistent. What needs to change is how we apply those values.
